Faced with the diversity of cold and heat energy supply, different viewpoints may have different options, coal, electricity and natural gas is widely used in air conditioning systems of energy supply, its soaring price makes the situation of energy severe. It was thus in the northern region of central heating, we can take advantage of the heat medium thermal power plants, urban heating network, heat transfer station to the city’s central cooling technology in summer, but many experts are in doubt and controversy of this cooling technique, it is necessary for us to do further research on this issue. There are three different forms of energy distributed cooling mode in the paper: hot water cold source-based urban heating network in summer cooling, a cold source to power electric refrigeration and natural gas as a cold source gas type trigeneration cooling mode to make depth analysis in energy efficiency and economy.In this paper, primary energy ratio and a comprehensive concept of energy saving efficiency index rate to make comparative analysis of these three fuel cooling mode and the energy efficiency differences. Depth analysis of the impact of power generation efficiency and heat efficiency cogeneration, the coefficient of performance of refrigeration apparatus, different heating efficiency gas turbine based on factors such as urban heating network in summer cooling mode energy efficiency. Calculation and analysis, in the same cold relations electricity prices, heat prices and gas prices, raised the price of critical heat, critical price to arrive at a cost-based cooling urban heating network in summer cooling mode economy.Taking the example of Xi’an "Jin Yu Hua FuⅡ" residential area,it takes use of Dest-h simulation software to calculate the index to determine the cooling load. From two parts of the initial investment and operating costs,in terms of both of these three ways Economic Analysis using minimum cost method. Studies have shown that on the basis of Xi’an hot price, gas price, the price of 2014 based on urban heating network(standard hot water cooling approach does not have the obvious economic benefits).
