Permanent magnet synchronous motor has many characteristics,including small size, light weight and high efficiency. The vector control system which is based on permanent magnet synchronous motor can achieve high-precision,high-dynamic performance, wide range of speed and position control, thus the permanent magnet synchronous motor has become the direction of development. Under the background of the the transformation of the injection molding machine, this paper studies the PMSM vector control system. Nowadays, most of the injection molding machines are driven by fluid, the load often changes and the speed is not adjustable. It will cause a huge loss of energy, resulting in the waste of power. In conclusion, the frequency conversion renovation of the injection molding machine has important practical significance and huge market demand.This paper introduces the PMSM’s history and characteristics of speed, and gives a brief description of the background and significance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system. In addition, it makes the analysis of PMSM’s mathematical model and chooses the vector control technology of field-oriented control as the basic control strategy. Considering the adaptability to different pump motors, the paper studies the algorithm of PMSM’s offline parameter identification, in order to calculate the appropriate PI parameters of the current loop automatically. In order to achieve higher speed and shorten the process during the injection, this paper optimizes the flux-weakening control strategy and proposes the integrated SVPWM(IPWM) algorithm. This paper chooses TI’s TMS320F28035 micro controller as the control core.The hardware platform consists of main power circuit and control circuit. And then this paper shows the algorithm flow chart of main control loop, parameter identification and integrated SVPWM. In addition, this paper simulates and analyses the algorithms through the Matlab / Simulink. Finally, this paper debugs and verifies the PMSM vector control system, which shows that the system has satisfying static and dynamic performance to achieve the design requirements.
