The Study On The Space-time Narrative Structure Of Historical Environment’s Regeneration

“History is a text that we have to read and write, but also be writing our contemporary behavior.”2 In other words, Historical stories involves three aspects that to be read, to be extended and re-interpretation, so when we deal with the relationship between the new and old regeneration of historic environment, they both should be unified into a complete narrative text, but this text is a history witness of the era we are living in. In another words, the new is an inheritance, continuation and re-interpretation of the old; on the other hand, the old is the historical roots and the heavy response that we cannot ignore. So facing with the historic environment’s material carrier, the behind story or event under different space-time, we should choose what kind of narrative structure methods to make them both of complete sequence and abundant authenticity, but clear dating and harmonious coexistence. Thereby, can we prompt the historic environment emerging a continuous evolution of a better situation totally? Through a comprehensive study of the space-time narrative structure of fiction text and the regenerated theory of historic environment, I found a variety of different space-time narrative structure by comparative and deductive methods. On this basis,I try to put the former narrative structures of space-time to guise in the center object of study, that is the thesis topic – The study on the space-time narrative structure of historical environment’s regeneration.Chapter one is introduction, I set out the background and significance of the study firstly, then I define the concept of “historic environment”, “renewable narrative”, “space-time narrative”, “space-time structure” separately, and then I determine the scope of study, sort and integrate the relevant information literature at home and abroad in the past, at the last, I map out the overall framework of this thesis. The second chapter I separately discuss the theory’s development and its direction turn, on this basis, I come up with the meeting point of the two logic, which further leads to explore the core of this paper – The study on the space-time narrative structure of historical environment’s regeneration.In third, fourth and fifth chapters, I separately discuss each of the cases that of “linear space-time narrative”, “juxtaposed space-time narrative” and “collage space-time narrative”, they correspond to the “line”, “face” and “body” of the space-time writing differently. Additionally, the discussion model of three chapters is as follows: Firstly, I explored and summarized the relevant fiction theory of space-time narrative, and then based on that model to deduce the space-time narrative structure of historical environment’s regeneration, and finally further summarized their features of the corresponding structure, as well as I had given their comparison and interpretation.Based on the above analysis and discussion, I try to generalize and summarize the thinking enlightenment of the space-time narrative structure of historical environment’s regeneration. Then the strategic approach of the space-time narrative thinking was confirmed through the corresponding practical cases. In the end, I pointed out the conclusion of the thesis, and looked the strategies of space-time narrative to be applied in other related areas.
