Background and sources of the paper is Chinese lunar exploration mission of unmanned automatic sampling. The main sampling method in subsurface sampling is drilling and coring. Main research contents of the paper included analyzing configuration and layout, function construction, concrete structural form. The method of reliability design and anslysis and experiment of space vehicle were used to analyse and experiment lunar sampling drill tool satabilizer.The very important thing to do first is to comprehend the working principle and working environment of amplitude constraint mechanism. After analysed the suitability of thermal environment and the margin of component parameters, carried out FMEA, identified crucial component of amplitude constraint mechanism.According to the result of FMEA, modeled FTA and Petri net model of amplitude constraint mechanism, assigned the whole set reliability of amplitude constraint mechanism to FTA and Petri net model with equal distribution method and weighed of attribute distribution method. Qualitative and quantitative reliability analysed were following reliability assignment.The foregoing analysis could not precise analyse every stage of amplitude constraint mechanism but only qualitative analyse the reliability of amplitude constraint mechanism.So center-point method was used to established reliability model of locking, unlocking and promoting stages. And behavior of frequency response and equation of the vibrating was combined togeher to analyse the reliability of promoting and unlocking.It’s not comprehensive to evaluate the reliability of amplitude constraint mechanism with analysis for it need high reliability. It ’s also not actually to carry out its experiment in unmanned automatic sampling mechanism. A work procedure simulation test equipment was developed to provide technical support for the subsequent engineering practice of locking, unlocking and promoting stages. The simulation test equipment was designed due to above demand.The experiment of satabilizer’s whole work procedure was carried out with its simulation test equipment. The sample measured up request. Changed experiment decided by success or failure to the experiment determined by performance data. Got these reliability based on GB4885. It turned out that satabilizer size up reliability request.
