Aerospace relay is one of the components that with worst reliability. Therefore, the study of the reliability assessment of aerospace relay is an urgent and far-reaching significance. With the growth of the relay’s life, the troditional methods are no longer applicable. Studies have shown that, the failure of relay is a gra dual process. So the reliability problems can be studied by monitoring and analyzing the performance parameters. In this paper, wiener process model is proposed to describe the degradation process of aerospace relay according to the analysis of relay’s failure mechanism.Fistly, performance parameters’ data and lifetime data are obtained by full life test under rated load for relays. Optimum performance parameters are determined by quantitative analysis and the failure criteria of which is given in the pap er. Finally, through statistical analysis, we can validate that degradation process of aerospace relay is in line with the unitary Wiener process.Analyze the life distribution of products whose degradation process are obeyed the unitary Wiener process. Combined with the degradation data of the performance parameter of aerospace relay, reliability model based on degradation data can be established. For the degradation data truncated by different time, reliability prediction can be calculated, and the optimal truncation time can be determined by the accuracy of different results. Confidence intervals and lower confidence limit of reliability are calculated by using Bootstrap interval estimation method.Wiener process modeling method based on the lifetime data are studied, and reliability are calculated by the method. Combine degradation data of performance parameter with lifetime data to establish the model for assessing the reliability. And the unknown parameters of the model are estimated by using MCMC metho ds. Complete reliability assessment based on the both data and compare the three models above to analyze their advantages, disadvantages and applicability.The existing aerospace relay life test and analysis systems are improved and perfected in this paper. By improving the calculation algorithm of performance parameters and perfecting the PC setup program, the control program and data management system software, the systems can run quickly and efficiently. Finally higher automated analysis system entertains the function of reliability assessment and consistency evaluation can be built by combining the theoretical research.
