Preliminary Design Strategies On Slope Adaptability Of Chuan Yu Slope Residence

Due to geography and landform, there is a lot of slope in Chuan Yu residential construction land. The construction is complicated. There are many troubles in design. The unreasonable construction will lead to the destruction of the natural ecological environment. In addition, modern people’s living habits and requirements for home have changed. The topic that how to make residence in harmony with the slope environment to be better for the contemporary life, becomes a significant issue.This paper is from the angle of contemporary architecture. By summarizing the history and slope residence cases researching in Chongqing and Sichuan, it finds the existing objective problems, which includes despising the slope environment site in planning, poor adaptability between architectural design and slope characteristics, environment landscape lacking of slope characteristic. In addition, the paper summaries the Chuan Yu slope characteristics,which contains the landform, micro climate, traditional residential customs. Then, combined with the problems and Chuan Yu slope characteristics, and based on the basic theory at all times and in all places, the paper summarizes design strategies’ guiding ideology of slope adaptability in Chuan Yu slope residence, which contains weighing comprehensively under the systematic and adaptively respecting slope characteristics. The paper discusses the design principles. Next, combined with excellent cases which comes from field investigation and design text, based on the guiding ideology and design principles, the paper discusses the design strategies of slope adaptability. The strategies’ angles contain site planning, architectural design, environment landscape:Firstly, the site planning should improve the occasion, which contains integration inside and outside of the field, building layout comprehensively, vehicle system adapting to the terrain, parking adapting to the terrain,walking system combined with landform.Secondly, the architectural design should adjust measures to local conditions,which contains adaptive grounding methods, space adapting to the terrain, entrances fitting within the internal functional organization, style adapting to slope aesthetic, three-dimensional building fire fighting system.Thirdly, the environment landscape should be landscape communion, which contains landscape stone pursuit of natural, water landscape among hills, multivariant and three-dimensional greening, landscape mode adapting to slope characteristic.At last, the paper takes the project—Nanjiang Qinhuayuan design in Sichuan Bazhong as an example, to confirm the above research.The paper is intended to have reference value on design strategies of slope adaptability in Chuan Yu slope residence.
