Automotive engine vibration is one of the major automobile vibration excitation source, reducing the impact of engine vibration and noise is significant for improving vehicle performance. Magnetorheological mount not only to meet the requirements of automotive broadband isolation, but also its control system is simple and easy to implement. In this paper, magnetorheological mount is selected as control object, then the research of control method and the hardware and software development of its control system are carried out.The two DOF dynamic model of powertrain mounting system is built, then the adaptive controller based on Fx LMS algorithm and the fuzzy controller are designed and the simulation analysis for the two control strategy is processed. The results show that: the adaptive controller based on Fx LMS algorithm and the fuzzy controller both have better overall control performance.In this paper, the needs of magnetorheological mount’s control system is analyzed and then the framework structure of the control system is also established. Freescale MC9S12XS128 is selected as the master chip and the CAN bus communication technology to use to collect the automobile information such as engine speed, then the hardware circuit schematics and the printed circuit board of control system are designed, printed circuit board processing and welding and the test of hardware system are also carried out. The results show that the hardware system meet the requirements of design.The programs design of CRG module, CAN module, PWM module and fault detection module is done by using of modular design method. The software testing of these programs are also completed. Test results show that the programs are capable of stable operation on the MCU and the software functions are verified.
