Rail traffic is bound to its transport capacity, less environmental pollution, punctual and high-speed, safe and reliable, saving land resources become the main force of China urban public transport system. Traction motor as a power source of rail transit vehicles, which run performance has a direct impact on the normal operation of the vehicle. Therefore, the study of traction motor test system for traction motor test, in order to ensure safe and reliable operation of the vehicle has vital importance significance. In this paper, monorail traction motor as the research object, to study and design the test system.In this paper, According to the motor test relevant standard, after full understanding monorail traction motor structure and technical parameters and working principle. Analysis test system the functional requirements and difficulties. Paper focuses on composition of the experimental system, including main circuit, measurement and control system and software system three aspects carries on the research and design.① Main circuit design. Firstly, analysis the monorail traction motor actual working mains power. Then modeled on the grid power supply, to test the scene to provide regular grid power supply into the power of the motor test available as the goal, Design the experimental system main circuit scheme with reference to the working principle high-low-high converter. According to the no-load current of the motor type selection design of main circuit of the hardware system.② Design and control system. The main function of the measurement and control system through analysis, design, measurement and control system schematic; and divided into data acquisition and control systems. Control system S7-200 SMART PLC as the control center, collecting test parameters current, voltage, vibration by the sensor and transferred to the PLC analog modules, which investigates the parameters of the acquisition method and sensor selection; control command issued by the operator also make the appropriate action by the PLC control drive system.③ Software system consists of upper and lower computer software programs to write. Lower computer software prepared by the STEP7-Micro WIN SMART, mainly to complete logic control of the test system and using high speed counter to gather the speed of the motor and calling the Scaling library acquisition analog. PC use VB6.0 by assembly language to complete the client’s design, to realize interaction with PLC control. Between SMART PLC and inverter, SMART meters and client, through USS communication, free port communication and OPC communication technology to establish a connection.To achieve the control of test system and the measurement and display of test parameters.
