A natural phenomenon that birds on the ground climbing at treetop when threats are approaching is easily captured in our daily life. We cannot stop asking ourselves questions like these: how can these birds keep distance flying in such a large speed? Is there a captain with responsibility for command and control between them? Is a member executing the same duty as a surveillance satellite? And are differential signals symbolized by those weary birds’ noises? Certainly, these interesting questions should be answered by biologic researchers. In this paper, we put our emphases upon how to design and realize Networked Air & Missile Defense(NAMD) systems, in order to make the systems work as a flock of birds mentioned above, and eventually to intercept rainy missiles from enemies like a national umbrella. But what is the critical technology to solve the complexity of NAMD systems? Simulation engineering should be an effective method. However, current unified simulation protocols, methodologies and specifications are mostly put forward from a technological perspective, which means the composable potential and engineering realization of NAMD are not considered enough, resulting in far from the real composability attempt of simulation. Fortunately, Composable Modeling Framework(CMF) is constructed by Lei in that context. This dissertation is guided by CMF for domain of NAMD systems, and the contributions and innovations are listed as the following four points.(1) Concept. Designed some vivid diagrams which implicate the structure, structuralcharacters and campaign features of NAMD systems and explored the complexity ofcomposable simulation for NAMD systems.(2) CMF. Constructed a suit of CMFs based on the top framework in WESS domain.(3) Models. Designed models for NAMD, and developed series of algorithms forproportion guidance, intercept point computing and optimization of nodes selection.(4) Validation. Invented some typical cases to validate the rationality of design phase.
