Solid rocket ramjet may be called the solid ramjet for short, due to its high specific impulse, small quality, good maneuverability, gas flow rate is adjustable, fuel safe and easy to store, attract much attention and expectations. Efficient combustion technology of secondary combustion chamber is the key problem whether solid ramjet can enter the model development, the designers are keen to the technology of engine performance indicates. Large number of studies on this area have been conducted,at present they has achieved some results, but still can not help people to solve these problems well. Efficient combustion technology and performance indicates of solid ramjet secondary combustion chamber, need to carry out more in-depth and meticulous research.In view of this, both numerical and experimental method were used, study the cold flow mixing process, correlation analysis of mixing and combustion, structure optimization of secondary combustion chamber has been carried on. The work provides guidance for enhance the knowledge and understanding of internal mixing and combustion process, and improve engine performance.Establish a set of simulate numerical method on secondary combustion chamber mixing and combustion process, and validated through some experiments, verify the correctness and reliability of the numerical simulation method. Combination of particle combustion characteristic and secondary combustion chamber mixing and combustion characteristic analysis, a new way about performance indicates is put forward, through cold flow mixing effect, we can make signal of engine combustion performance.Combined with the domestic and foreign research status about mixing problem, establish an evaluation method, taking gas mixing degree, particle mixing degree and oxygen and fuel ratio as targets in secondary combustion chamber. Quantitatively get each place gas components and oxygen mixing effect in secondary combustion chamber. Analysis of the contrast between heat flow mixing and cold flow mixing has been studied, the relation between cold flow mixing and heat of combustion has been studied too. On the basis of comparative analysis, verified the cold flow mixing indicated the feasibility of combustion performance, established a mixing evaluation criterion,consider the particle mixing degree as the main index, and take into account gas mixing degree and oxygen/fuel ratio. Experiments have been conducted,using correlation analysis of cold and hot flow theory, a new engine test conditions were put forward. The result show that combustion efficiency increases, proving that correlation analysis of mixing and combustion theory is reasonable.Study the secondary combustion chamber structure factors, including the air inlet and gas nozzle structure, inlet angle on the influence law of mixing and burning process are numerical simulated, the study show that secondary combustion mixing effect has a direct connection with the combustion efficiency, while mixing degree is low, combustion efficiency will not be high, the extent of mixing can reflect the combustion efficiency to some extent. Secondary combustion chamber structure optimization research has been conducted, based on the orthogonal experiment optimization method considering interaction between factors. A particular configuration of engine combustion chamber is optimized design, realize the interaction among multiple factors analysis of the coupling.
