Comfort and energy saving has become the theme of the development in the HVAC field. Traditional convection air condition will not only bring the “wind feeling” but also trigger a series of health problems. This will bring serious impacts on human health. The birth of capillary radiation air conditioning is a solution to the problems. This paper mainly analyse the energy of capillary radiation air conditioning.First, using program calculate the thermal comfort equation proposed by P.O.Fanger. Under the reasonable selection of the average radiant temperature and the same thermal comfort conditions, this paper shows indoor air temperature of capillary radiation air conditioning is higher than that of the convection air conditioning in summer. But the result is opposite in the winter. This shows that if the selection of the average radiation temperature and air dehumidification mode is reasonable, the energy of the fresh air system of the capillary radiation air conditioning will be reduced.Secondly, using C++ and Matlab program calculate the heat balance equations of the thermal environment parameters. We can find the inner surface temperature of external structure of capillary radiation air conditioning is lower than the inner surface temperature of external structure of convection air conditioning in summer. But the result is opposite in winter. This shows that the envelope load of capillary air conditioning is higher than that of convective air conditioning. If we consider the fresh air load, this paper shows that when indoor air temperature is equal to or more than 27℃(less than 23.3℃) in summer(winter), the capillary radiation air conditioning room load is lower than the convective air conditioning load under the thermal comfort conditions. It shows that the energy of the capillary radiation air conditioning is lower than convection of air conditioner.Finally, this article proposes that the design of capillary radiation air conditioning and building can be based on the average radiation temperature. If the layout area of capillary mat is not sufficient, this article provides some measures to solve it. Through Fluent simulation, this results show that changing the temperature of supply water is the optimum option under no dew conditon.
