The stability and security of electric power system is highly significant to people’s daily life and society production. In power system, high voltage current measurement equipment is important, which plays a great role in the normal operation of electric power system and the measurement of electric energy. With the pace of economic construction accelerated, Chinese grid is developing quickly. Power supply voltage levels continue improving, and the current harmonic components becomes more and more complex, the performance of current measurement system need to be improved, especially the response speed and precision of the equipments. Therefore, research on monitoring system of high voltage current parameter has become a popular subject in the field of electric power system. In this paper, high voltage current parameters acquisition and wireless transmission system based on DSP combining with the contemporary electronic technology and wireless communication technology have been introduced, which is a new idea of current detection in grid and high and low voltage signal communication at both ends.Firstly, the background and the significance of the research have been introduced. And the advantages and disadvantages of both traditional and modern transformers in practical application have been analyzed. Come to a conclusion that we should design new high voltage current parameter monitoring equipment.Secondly, this paper shows the working principle and the layout structure of electric energy photoelectric current transformer and finds it’s weakness. This kind of equipment turned to be energy wasting and hard to speed the system. Then put forward the idea of signal processing in the high pressure side of the power grid, and demonstrated it.Again,this paper introduced the signal processing part in high voltage current transformer system, summarized the knowledge of signal processing of the system, included signal acquisition, signal calculation and transmission, provided the theoretical foundation for the system design.Finally, the author built system with the new method. The devices for the system was selected, and the sensing part, the signal processing part and the signal transmitting part was finished. After the hardware and software were completed, the author tested the system by a series of experiments.
