Study Of The Natural Lighting Design Strategy Of Hospital Outpatient Department’s Public Space In Guangdong Regions

With the improvement of people’s health consciousness and the development of the healthcare building, people has paid more attention to the quality of the public space in hospital building. Considering the large stream, multiple visitors and long residence time, the public space of outpatient department is the most important part of the hospital building public space. Natural lighting can not only offer illumination to indoor space, and have irreplaceable positive impact to people’s psychological and physiological. Guangdong is located in Ⅳlight climate partition in China, where has well natural lighting conditions. Restricted to the function of hospital building, the thinking of natural lighting design in public space is often ignored. Which reduces the user’s comfort, and brings unnecessary lighting energy consumption in hospital building. Therefore, the public space design of outpatient department should give full consideration to natural lighting design and energy saving.in the condition of meeting the demand of hospital functions and user’s comfort.This article is consisted of five main parts:The first part(Chapter 1): the introduction, mainly elaborated the research background, object and the significance of this article, an overview of the relevant research both at home and abroad, which is the theory basis of this article’s study.The second part(chapter 2): analysis of natural lighting’s present situation of the outpatient department’s public space in Guangdong. Firstly, summarized the climate and environment characteristics of Guangdong. Secondly, summarized the requirement of natural lighting design of the outpatient department’s public space according to it’s characteristics. At last, found and summarized the natural lighting design problems of outpatient department’s public space in Guangdong, by questionnaire survey and on-the-spot investigation. Provides the basis for further analysis and strategy study.The third part(chapter 3 and 4): chapter 3 summarized the influence factors of natural lighting in outpatient department’s public space, clear the direction of the further analyses. Chapter 4 analysed the natural lighting from four parts : overall outpatient building, outpatient service hall, outpatient street and waiting space. Through a large number of case studies combination with the theoretical foundation of hospital building design and natural lighting design.The fourth part(chapter 5): through the daylighting testing of Guangdong province traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Higher Education Mega Center and statistical analysis, found the feature and shortage of it’s lighting design. Putting forward optimization suggestions on the shortcomings, and Verify the optimization design strategy by Ecotect simulation. To support the next chapter of daylighting design strategy.The fifth part(chapter 6): through the analysis above, summed up the natural lighting design strategy of hospital outpatient department’s public space in Guangdong.
