Study On The Regional Expression Of Architecture In East Fujian

Under the theme of globalization becoming the world’s common development background, the rapid development of economy and science has created a growing convergence of architectural features. In this case, as an important way to maintain global cultural diversity, regional expression is an inevitable phenomenon in contemporary architectural design as well as the inevitable means, therefore the research of regional expression has urgent necessity.This paper analyzes a large number of domestic and foreign regional architecture, using analysis, analogy, induction and empirical methods. The paper analyzes natural factors, human factors and economic and technical factors that affect regional architecture, and forms the regional expression research method named " from regional factors influence to the expression of the main points " which were studied and discussed based on the climate, form and space, material and techniques to explore the regional architecture design methods. Meanwhile, the paper lay emphasis on mining and combing traditional architectural features of east Fujian Province, and then the eastern Fujian architectural expression are studied. The paper is divided into four parts, as follows:The first part(chapter 1): Present research background, significance of research, research content, methods and organizing framework. The paper sorts out the context of domestic and regional architecture under the background of globalization and gives a brief analysis to the uniqueness of the east Fujian region. The cultural in east Fujian region is primarily a succession of traditional Chinese culture, but also has its own variation in the succession process, and the regional study in east Fujian area has a certain significance.The second part(Chapter 2): Analysis of regional factors. The paper states the definition of regional, regional factors and the regional reference level from the theoretical point of view. On this basis, the nature and the human factors in east Fujian region is analyzed, as well as the classification of east Fujian region traditional architecture. Finally, the paper presents the regional expression research method which is studied from regional factors influence to the expression of the main points.The third part(chapter 3 to Chapter 5): The main part of the paper. The paper respectively bases on the three aspect including climate adaptation, form and space, material and technical to analyze domestic and foreign regional practices,and then explore the creative approach of building regional expression in east Fujian.Part IV(Chapter 6): Summary of research results.
