| With the rapid development of domestic infrastructure and real estate market, the river sand, which is one of the concrete raw materials, is becoming increasingly scarce. Since Chinese government carried out the “old for new†Policy in June 2009, there have been an excessive amount of waste electronic devices, of which CRT glass(mostly funnel glass) is 65% to 85%. Considering its expensive processing cost, Domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of researches on the feasibility of the CRT funnel glass as fine concrete aggregate. However, most of studies are concentrated on the physical properties, mechanical properties and alkali-silica reaction(ASR) but few studies of the durability and its molding products under coastal environment. This article mainly focuses on the physical and mechanical properties of concrete containing CRT funnel glass and its seepage, shrinkage and long-term property under salt corrosion. At the same time, the economy and mechanical property of molding paving bricks are discussed preliminarily. The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:The isovolumetric CRT funnel glass sand takes place of the fine aggregate concrete to study the physical and mechanical performance. Experimental results showed that, with the increase of the CRT funnel glass the hardening density increased while water absorption rate, porosity, cube compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, the static elastic modulus and axial compressive strength of 28 d strength decreased. The leaching behavior of plumbum in concrete was measured by the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure(TCLP). The TCLP test result affirmed that the leaching of plumbum in acided concrete is below the detection limit of 3 mg/L.The research on the durability of CRT funnel glass concrete under coastal environment contains chlorine salt corrosion and sulfate corrosion by dry-wet circulation and carbonation. The chloride ion diffusion coefficient fitted by the test on the chloride ion concentration distribution under different soaking age showed that the surface internal porosity of CRT funnel glass concrete was loose to chloride ion penetration. In this paper, we studied the performance of CRT funnel glass under the sulfate corrosion by observing the superficial appearance, change of quality, coefficient of residual strength, corrosion resistance coefficient and tried to explain the results on the micro level by means of XRD. Experimental results showed that the CRT funnel glass concrete under sulfate corrosion accompanied by the dry-wet circulation encountered more serious corrosion. Carbonization tests indicate that the change of tensile strength is more sensitive thanthat of the compressive strength, which displays that the bonding interface between CRT funnel glass and cement mortor is weak.The the permeability and shrinkage of CRT funnel glass concrete was studied by capillary suction penetration test. The results showed that the capillary water absorption coefficient of the experimental groups was higher than that of the control group, which could illustrate the internal porosity of CRT funnel glass is looser. The shrinkage test results showed that the CRT funnel glass could inhibit the early shrinkage of concrete.Finally, this paper tested whether the mechanical property of molding paving bricks containing CRT funnel glass met the specification requirements or not. The environment friendly property and economical efficiency were analized. Although the mechanical performance and durability of concrete with some CRT funnel glass was weakened slightly, it has potential values in engineering from the angle of environment protection and resource conservation. Based on the datas of this thesis, the potential dosage of the CRT funnel glass in practical engineering application is about 30%. |
