Plate heat exchanger as a common heat exchanger, has been widely used. With the development of production technology of heat exchanger, requirements have become more sophisticated. Conditional plate heat exchangers increasingly unable to meet the requirements of some engineering projects. For this reason, based on the conventional symmetric plate heat exchanger, experts and scholars in China and other countries is proposed the type of asymmetric plate heat exchangers, which expand the fields of the application of plate heat exchanger.Asymmetric plate heat exchanger is a new heat exchanger, which currently less relevant for research. The traditional theory of plate heat exchanger symmetrical plate heat exchanger performance testing and test experimental design does not apply to non-symmetrical plate heat exchanger. One of the topic of this research is to propose a performance test method of testing for the asymmetric plate heat exchanger. Then it will analysis and test the accuracy of experimental results. The results of accuracy analysis will be used to improve the accuracy of the test method. Based on the results of Accuracy analysis and some related technical standards, it will establish the experimental protocols. Then, based on experimental data and results of performance tests, it will use economic objective function to analyze the plate heat exchanger design optimization. The main work of this paper is as follows.First, develop a method for the performance test of asymmetric plate heat exchanger. Compared with conventional symmetrical plate heat exchangers, not only the asymmetrical plate heat exchanger has different flow path geometry shapes, but also the fluid guidelines correlation coefficients of cold and hot side are not the same. Performance test methods conditional symmetrical plate heat exchanger can’t meet the performance testing requirements of asymmetric one. Base on the original traditional methods, it proposed a new experimental method, which is based on nonlinear parameters least squares method and is applicable to the performance testing of asymmetrical plate heat exchanger.Second, after the proposed of new experimental performance test methods, analyze the accuracy of the test results which based on the theory of error analysis. The purpose is to study if the test results can meet the relevant technical standards. Factors that affect the accuracy of the test results were analyzed to discuss the influence of different factors, and research how to improve the accuracy of the test results.Third, based on the new performance experimental testing methods, establish the experimental protocols of performance testing, which including the establishing of the performance testing test-bed and the provision of test experimental indicators of performance testing test-bed. According to the results of accuracy analysis, choosing the type and accuracy of test instrument. The purpose of which is to ensure the accuracy of the test results meet the test requirements. Set the provision of test systems of performance test and data acquisition systems. At last, it will use uniform experimental design to establish the experimental protocols of performance tests.Fourth, discuss the optimal design of asymmetric plate heat exchanger. After the performance test results, we will get performance parameters of asymmetric plate heat exchanger. For the purpose of applied in the actual project of asymmetrical plate heat exchanger, we put forward an optimal design method specific to asymmetric plate heat exchanger, which the objective function is Present Value of Costs(short for PVC).Last, developing a function integration software. In order to analysis all the research contents conveniently, it will develop a software which integrate the function of asymmetric plate heat exchanger performance test, the test result accuracy and design optimization.Through the research work of this thesis, it will studies on asymmetric plate heat exchanger performance testing methods, analyzes the factors that affect the accuracy and precision of the test results and proposes a method to improve the accuracy of the test results. According to the results of accuracy analysis and relevant technical standards, it will design the test-bed and propose the test indicators. Then establish the experimental procedure of performance test. Based on the experimental data and the results of performance testing, it will propose an optimization method of asymmetric plate heat exchanger.
