Composite material beam becomes wider and wider application in Aircraft Structures, but web plates are often damaged because of instability. So it is even more necessary for analyzing the stability of web plates and predicting of its failure load.Due to composite material is a kind of multiphase materials. Macroscopic mechanics property of composite material is closely related to micro-properties. Predicting and analyzing the macroscopic mechanics property of composite material have become important research topic with more and more attention from micro-components aspects.In the paper, stability of I-section beam is analyzed by the methods of nonlinear FEM. Meanwhile, considering the condition of being obtained microstructural mechanical properties and damaging.We set up an direct micro mechanical analysis model to predict the failure load of I-section CFRP beam.Firstly, according to the demand of experiments, we designed the reasonable experimental scheme, and especially analyzed strain data in assessment part, then took the data into stability criterion, we got the buckling load of this structure through analyzing the stability of the assessment part. On the other hand, we record strain values, failure load, loading location displacement in assessment part when structure collapsed, it provided test foundation for the FEM simulating.Secondly, based on results of stability experiment of composite be am web, this paper, we created.The three-dimensional finite element method models in ABAQUS software, After introducing initial imperfect, Applying RIKS measure to stabilize web plates, and simulating the loading process by FEM, we obtained the load-displacement curve of the loading point. By analyzing shear stability of web plates, we gain instability load of web plates, And Compared th e load-displacement curve with experiment, we confirmed the validity of simulation models,Finally, introducing micro mechanical method of cells(GMC) theory in paper, Integration of micro mechanical method of cells(GMC) theory into progressive damage theory, we compiled VUMAT to ABAQUS software, then achieve prediction of the failure load of web plates...
