Because of synchronous reluctance with permanent magnet’s reluctance torque and permanent-magnet torque,it has many advantages such as high efficiency,high power density and wide speed range.It’s a new type motor with strong development potential.Many design of SRPM has been conducted at home and abroad.But research of control for SRPM is less than design.A rightness control plays a very important role for efficient operation of SRPM.At first this paper obtains the mathematical model of SRPM which combined with the characteristic of SRPM on the base of the study about the mathematical model of PMSM and synchronous reluctance motor.The analysis about torque characteristics of SRPM lets us know that many coupling parameter affect the torque characteristics,such as permanent magnet,d-axis and q-axis inductance,current and current angle.etc.The characteristics of SRPM is complex.Then simulation model has been built.And than author discussed the double-closed-loop vector control of SRPM.Then simulation and analysis has been completed.SRPM only has double-closed-loop vector control can meet the basic requirements,but it’s the precision and efficiency isn’t high。At last some flux weakening methods had been Introduction.Then author analyzed the principle of flux weakening for SRPM.Improved current regulator flux weakening control has been designed on the base of that.Although it has good performance and control effect,it’s output is unstable.Current and torque have a little fall.In order to solve those problems,an better method called current angle control has been designed.Then author did the simulation and compared these two method.The result is that current angle control has a more stable output.It’s current and torque have not decreased. Author put forward some controls which can adapt to the engineering conditions.
