With the development of economy, long-span steel structures have been widely used in engineering. The style of structure has been transformed from the grid structure and reticulated shell structure originally to grid structure, reticulated shell structure, membrane structure, cable structure, thin shell structure and various combinations of them. The complexity and diversity of structure style indicate that we need to take more new construction technology to solve the problems in construction. Integral lifting method have the advantages of construction safety, quickly construction speed, assembly of high quality and low noise advantages with low energy consumption, so it has been widely applied in the construction of long-span steel structure. Therefore, we study on the theory and construction technology of integral lifting method for construction technology, which it is to adapt to our country’s technology development trend in the overall installation of large-span steel structure, but also have very important realistic meaning to promote the development of our country’s whole construction industry.In this paper, taking the steel truss integral lifting construction on the eastern side of Mianyang Science and Technology Museum as the engineering background, two problems were studied: confirming lifting points’ quantity and location and analyzing of the steel truss structure when lifting points are non-synchronous lifting basing on integral lifting method in construction. According to the construction features of the steel truss, analysis of the influence of lifting points’ quantity and location to the internal force of the structure by setting up 8 lifting points, 12 lifting points and 16 lifting points for the steel truss. The possible lifting schemes were chosen from the analysis results and analysis of out-of-plane stability of them. The influence of lifting points’ quantity and location to the structure stability were studied and it provided the theoretical basis for the final lifting point layout scheme. According to the characteristics of the process of lifting, it will be divided into two stages to research the problem of non-synchronous lifting. In each stage, all non-synchronous working conditions were analyzed form two aspects: considering the displacement difference only and considering the displacement difference with gravity and other loads. Study the influence of displacement difference to the structure and confirm the limit value of displacement difference in the process of lifting. Besides, steel truss construction scheme, general idea of structure installation, lifting points selection and node reinforcement, analysis of mechanical structure in the process of lifting, calculation and selection of the sling and crane were introduced in the fifth chapter. Moreover, the process of the steel truss integral lifting and synchronous control and security measures were analyzed.Finally, some deficiencies of this paper are pointed out,and I have put forward key problems about the integral lifting construction technology, which need to be solved in the future.
