| The original large span space structure of our country is relatively weak, but with the enhancement of economic strength and social development, it has developed rapidly. The type and form of space structure become increasingly diversified, theoretical research and corresponding design technology is gradually improving.Large-span building is mainly used for civil building such as theaters, stadiums, exhibition halls, airports and other large public buildings,and for the industrial building is mainly used for aircraft assembly workshop, hangar space etc. Large-span space structure is currently the quickest development structure, and architectural features have become increasingly diverse, it also requires building to provide greater space. The development situation of the large-span space structure and the space structural technique,which is the core technology, is an important sign for the national construction science and technology level.At the same time, as the development and progress of human society, the needs of the super-large-span dome structure increasing apparently: in the desert, the polar, outer planets etc. which are extremely poor areas, to create a suitable regional environment for human survival,to protect city residents from the deterioration of the environment,to meet the energy-saving and emission reduction requirements in the process of city development. In the 1960 s, master of architecture and western developed countries started research on kilometer super-large-span dome structure, and puts forward some conceptual designs.Throughout the history of space structure’s development, how to improve the building structure spanning ability has been relentless pursuit of space structure engineers. In such a long historical process from the Pantheon in Roman times to the Small Sports Palace of Rome in 1957, the structure spanning capability almost has no improvement, subjecting to the level of development of building materials. The structure spanning capability achieve a quantum leap with the development of new materials, new processes, new technologies and new structures in recently three decades. Now the span of the spatial structure has reached the magnitude of 300 m. The development of spatial structures provides some technical support for the exploration of greater span dome structures.The research of super-large-span dome structures is a multi-disciplinary systematic project. And the reticulated mega-structures is the structure emerging in recent years, the relative research is seldom.The first need to solve the problem is choosing what kind of reticulated mega-structures is rational, for such a huge span, and needing to bear complex loads. To solve the structural selection of 800 m super-large-span dome reticulated mega-structures, this paper have carried out some researches as following:Fistly, establishing a unified evaluation criteria for structural design.Secandly, the exploration of the super-span dome reticulated mega-structures. |
