| Smart grid is a complex modern power grid that integrate power flow, business flow and information flow. As a hub of power grid in the process of energy transfer, the complexity of substation is more outstanding, which behaves as: â‘ including the most link of transmission, substation and distribution from the standpoint of power flow; â‘¡ involving internal business process integration among various systems in transformer substation and interaction with distributed new energy from the standpoint of business flow; â‘¢ including numerous types of business flow with complex flow direction, high real-time performance and high reliability, and needing great capacity for data processing and storage from the standpoint of information flow. Internet of Things(IOT) technology effectively promote the popularity of intelligent substation and business process efficiency for the characters of wide perception, reliable transmission and convenient(distributed) processing.However, because of the complexity of the substation application system, the substation information and communication system is to presented as the following characteristics: â‘ plenty kinds of data flow, complicated direction of data flow, huge amounts of data acquisition, transmission, processing and storage, high real-time performance and high reliability; â‘¡ repeated construction of information and communication system which increase the burden of construction and operational and hinder real-time information interaction between systems for the multi and complex of application type in substation; â‘¢ traditional network has the design idea of independent layers which lower the whole performance of information and communication system.ICT(Information and Communication Technology) integration is an integration technology which can better integrated substation information traffic and transport channels, and accommodate the complexity of substation information and communication system for it increases the coupling of information layer and communication layer and provides the system-level ICT platform. Because of the advantages of centralized control, programmable network behavior and virtualization, SDN(Soft Defined Networking, software Defined network) technology can contribute to ICT integration.Researches of ICT system structure for Power System and substation information and communication network structure were put forward in this paper, which is based on “Power transmission and transformation equipment monitoring and total life cycle management based on the technology of IOT†of national “863†projects and “Information and communication integration research and simulation†of state grid projects. Then study of field area network platform and its key technology in substation were presented. The main research work and innovation points are as follows:â‘ Come up with a comprehensive business oriented and improved ICT structure which is based on integration between the layers, multi-section and platform. Then the communication network platform for substation that based on the ICT structure and its key technology were researched and implemented.â‘¡ Put forward an improved clustering algorithm named HW-BIRCH which is based on BIRCH clustering algorithm and analysis the adaptability of HW-BIRCH and the network business flow integration in substation.â‘¢ Design a substation ICT gateway router which is based on SDN and solve key technology of “multi-dimensional switchingâ€. |
