the stability analysis of jointed rock slope is still one of the important research topics in the field of geotechnical engineering. Due to the analysis process of the project, which involves a large number of parameters, such as rock internal cohesion, internal friction angle and other parameters which are not measured accurately, thus a lot of difficulties for the stability analysis of jointed rock slope are brought by the existence of the objective fuzzy problems. therefore fuzzy measure model is used to analyze this problem in this paper. During the analysis process, taking a large open-pit mine of our south as an example, and the fuzzy measure model is applied to analyze the lope stability.To begin with, the fuzzy measure model is applied to analyze the probability of slope instability under the influence of the blasting vibration. The fuzzy probability, which is the degree of slope rock instability in the condition of the priming does of different maximum period. In the process of analysis, according to the problem of determining the engineering parameters, the artificial neural network method is applied to determine the parameter is related to the power of the blasting and he parameter is related to the rock property. Meanwhile, the simplified Bishop method and finite element method are applied to analyze the stability of the slope, and the results were compared with the results of fuzzy measure. The results show that the predictions of the three theoretical methods are basically consistent with the actual situation of the project.On the one hand, the numerical simulation results of utilizing finite element method are in good agreement with the prediction results of fuzzy measure method; on the other hand, the fuzzy measure method not only can consider a lot of influence factors of slope stability, but also can figure out the extent of jointed slope stability,and the fuzzy measure method is more suitable to engineering practice rather than the classical method.In addition, when fuzzy measure method is applied to analyze jointed rock slope stability, the extent of the impact of blasting vibration which is away different distance from the slope on the slope stability can be obtained. O n this account evaluating whether explosive used in the producing blasting is reasonable or not, and then achieving the purpose of controlling blasting can be achieved, and the effect of the blasting can be improved at the same time, the slope stability and safe construction can also be guaranteed.Comprehensive analysis results indicates that the fuzzy measure method which is applied in this paper has good practicability to forecast and analyze the stability of joint or weathered broken slope.
