In nearly a decade, along with environmental pollution and energy crisis is becoming more and more prominent,as the sustainable development themes of the world,energy saving and environment protection are increasingly recognized by people. Taking this opportunity,the electric car(EV) get a fast development. The EV with battery as a power source, it’s regenerative braking system plays a important role in energy conservation and reduce emissions pollution which is recognized by people.This article first briefly introduced the development history of the EV, the structure characteristics and advantages of the wheel_hub_motor_driven EV, the research achievements in regenerative braking at home and abroad;secondly,analyzes the main factors of braking stability and safety when the car brakes;furthermore,introduces several common kinds of regenerative braking control strategy;finally,on this basis established the regenerative braking control strategy.Considering the characteristic of the wheel_hub_motor_driven EV’s front and rear axle both can recycle braking energy,the I curve of ideal front and rear axle braking force distribution,the ECE regulation curve,the power generation efficientcy of permanent synchronous motor, the front and rear axle braking force distribution was divided into six section of line segments on the braking intensity size;full considering the constraints,such as the SOC of the battery,the largest charging current and charging voltage of the battery, the torque characteristics of the motor,the vehicle speed and so on,destributed the motor or mechanical braking force of the front and rear axle.This article did power matching and parameter settings on the basis of a domestic car’s basic parameters,established the vehicle model in the AVL Cruise software and the control strategy model in the simulink,and then,did collaborative simulation through the module of Cruise Interface.First did the braking simulation in the braking conditions of different braking intensity at a vehicle speed,it suggested that the basic braking performance of the regenerative braking control strategy conformed to the national standard; secondly, did the simulation analysis and compared with the regenerative braking control strategy of distributing front and rear axle force in a fixed proportion,the results showed that under the premise of car’s braking stability and safety,this control strategy effectively improved the efficiency of regenerative braking energy recovery and had a certain practical value.
