The growing demand for electricity and the arising of successive regional interconnection and long-distance transmission system, make the power system components number increase sharply and the network scale further complicate. The social damage and economic loss is more and more serious which is caused by power outage. Therefore, the power system reliability assessment and analysis form the indispensable basis for the reasonable scheduling decisions, seeking the quick way to select system status become a top priority. At the same time, new energy grid especially the wind power scale becomes an important trend for the future. However, the volatility and uncertainty of the wind power is also a big challenge for power system reliability.This paper establishes the reliability model of wind power. Through normal distribution curve fitting out of the wind speed probability density curve, and adopts stratified hierarchical clustering technology layer the curve, and with the aid of the characteristic curve of the power of wind turbines, the hierarchical model of wind power output power is obtained. In addition, it also established the service reliability model of wind turbines, satisfied with the needs of the power system reliability analysis of wind power.System state selection is essential in the calculation of reliability of link, and also determined the whole running time. In this paper, improved state space partition method is used to select the system status. Improved state space partition method consists of improved quick sort technique and non-sequential Monte-Carlo simulation method. Conbine the Simulation and analytic method can greatly reduce the number of the need to compute the system state on the premise of meet the calculation precision, and improve the calculation speed.System status analysis is conducted for each system state which is selected, and it is the most time-consuming and the most key link. This paper establishes the optimal load reduction model Based on DC flow algorithm of trend both considered in the load fluctuation. The model using particle swarm optimization method adding to the nearest principle of cutting load principle and the important degree principle of cutting load, makes the load reduction plan better and more in line with the actual situation.Clear the reliability evaluation process and use the IEEE RTS test system to calculate the reliability index on case of wind farms connected the power grid in different ways and carries on the comparison and analysis. At the same time, use the sensitivity calculation method to calculate the parameters of the sensitivity of each node as the basis judgments of system weak links.
