Adding rubber particles can improve the properties of normal concrete such as sound insulation, heat insulation, durability, energy absorption and shock absorption, etc. In this paper, rubber particles of three kind of sizes and 5%~40% content were added into normal concrete by substituting the same volume of fine aggregate.Rubberized concrete samples were prepared as water/cement ratio of 0.45 and the compressive test, the axial compressive test and the four-point bending test were performed. These experiments studied influence of rubber content on mechanical properties of concrete. Transform formula between cubic compressive strength and flexural strength of rubber concrete was established based on mathematical fitting, the relationship between strength reduction factor and rubber content, and connection between density reduction factor were suggested separately. The main contents including:1.Based on mechanical test, mechanical properties of rubber concrete including di fferent rubber sizes and rubber contents, the effects of rubber content and partic le sizes on the mechanical properties of rubber concrete as well as the influence of rubber particles addition on bend-press ratio had been studied;2. By regressing and analyzing the experiment datas, the relationship between cubic and axial compressive strength as well as the relationship between cubic compressive strength and flexural strength of crumb rubber concrete was established separately;3. Density and strength reduction factor formulas related with rubber content and rubber particle sizes were established by linear fitting via mathematical method.
