Since the 1990 s,the number of bridges is growing rapidly in C hina. Up to now, we’re having a large number of old bridges. Under the influence of the vehicle, the external environment, human factors, etc. diseases and defects has arose in most of bridges, and affect the use of them seriously. Therefore, to assess the existing bridges’ carrying capacity and safety has been one of the hot issues which need to be resolved at this stage. At the same time, we should research and analyze the mechanical properties of the existing bridges.the most direct and effective method is real-bridge test,in which, the whole process of the force can be analyzed, the mechanical property in each experimental phase can be obtained, the structure performance and the actual carrying capacity under various loads of existing bridges could be understood and predicted more accurately, so real-bridge test has great practical significance. However, due to the limita tions of existing test equipment and loading methods, Real bridge test can not be popularized and universal. Therefore to introduce a kind of more economical, safe, convenient and reliable load equipment has a great practical significance. This article is based on static load test and bridge bearing capacity theory, use economic, safe, practical and convenient as the principle to propose a new real bridge loading test device, design the structure and loading method preliminarily. Then, by prestressed concrete box girder loaded simulate the entire loading process, which includes analysis of inverted box girder stress and capacity, reinforced design of reaction beam, and analysis the whole process of load reaction beam, finally, the feasibility of the device is proved.
