As China’s economic and social development, the city continues to expand the scale of construction. The city need to build a large number of public infrastructure, including water supply and drainage pipe, power lines, communication lines, road infrastructure. Public infrastructure often conflict in the process of construction, caused the city landscape and the destruction of infrastructure, to bring very bad influence to the development of the city. Aiming at this phenomenon, the paper presents a thought of collaborative development between transportation infrastructure and other services facilities. Collaborative road and pipeline facilities can reduce the land occupation area, avoiding facilities construction conflict. At the same time, it can reduce the construction cost and promote the healthy development of the city.First of all, in the research of collaborative construction of public infrastructure, the problems exist in the construction of public infrastructure. The construction sectors in development are troubled of construction of synchronization problems. Before this study, the concept of transport infrastructure and other service facilities should be clear. The former refers to the highway and urban road. The latter refers to the people’s production and living water, electricity, telecommunications and road. This paper studies the development thought and the scope of application of collaborative research, further illustrating the collaborative construction of public infrastructure is favorable of urban development.Secondly, this paper analyzes the problems in the traditional construction, to show the collaborative construction of public infrastructure is better to promote social development. And this paper points out the advantages of synergy development. There are some problems and potential risks in the process of building the facilities in coordination. Only fully grasping the problems that may arise in the process of construction, the collaborative development promotes the social and economic development.Finally, this paper analyzes collaborative development from the perspective of time and space. In order to achieve the maximum benefit, the construction of line is determined by analyzing the site of collaborative construction. The construction cost of traditional way were compared and analyzed, theoretically achieving collaborative development line arrangement. The paper verifies the collaborative development of road infrastructure and power lines taking a line of Tongchuan City, to prove the conclusion through calculating the cost of the space and time.
