Vehicular networking technology with rapid development has been increasingly mature in the application of heavy truck. The heavy truck manufactured by Shaanxi Automotive Group Co., Ltd has been equipped with the vehicular networking system with the name of “Tianxingjian” since 2012. A number of vehicle operating data can be acquired and stored conveniently with this system by the corporate. However, the huge amounts of data, various types of data and data incompleteness have been its major problems. Determining how to analyze and process the data effectively and how to acquire more valuable information has become the current urgent problems.Based on the amounts of data in vehicular networking system of “Tianxingjian”, taking the method of MATLAB to be the data processing algorithm, a set of preprocessing algorithm was designed for the original collected data by vehicular networking system and the grid of one dimensional time was divided according to the time order. The large data file with a specification format can be developed by matching the kinetic parameter with the points of GPS, which means each GPS point represents the actual operating state for the identified location of a vehicle.The SOM algorithm for practical application was used to cluster and fit the GPS tracking points collected by vehicular networking system in Shaanxi Automotive Group Co., Ltd. The GPS clustering algorithm was designed based on the network grid, the GPS point according to the time order was transferred to the spatial order, and then the topology of road network structure was developed. Furthermore, the actual operating GPS topology of road network structure was also developed by identifying the dimension of road operating, which was used to store the data of road network by means of MATLAN cell array structure. The GPS path base on the clustering algorithm is consist of data pre-screened module, map grid module, path clustering module and repeating path merging module.The dynamic parameter analysis system was designed based on the development platform of MATLAB GUI interface. Different GPS data of road network for different vehicles was plotted in actual practical of application of preprocessing algorithm and GPS clustering algorithm. Road network on specific road segment was chosen by comparing the actual map. The dynamic parameters of different vehicles on the road segment were intercepted to analyze the specific value reflecting the operating state of the vehicle when the vehicle is in motion. In view of the great difference in hundreds of kilometers of fuel consumption of the vehicles, two groups of representative vehicles were chosen to be analyzed comprehensively to study the difference in power performance on the basis of vehicle dynamics analysis.
