Since the Ronan Point apartment explode, many countries have a further research more than 40 years for exposed event, obtained many important results, at the same time developed many specifications, Such as: the British, European and American norms, etc. Floor, as main components of structure, has a great influence for progressive collapse, Therefore, in the research of progressive collapse, it is necessary to consider the role of the floor. The paper use the nonlinear static analysis, simulate the failure of center pillar along long side about the frame structure with two layers. Contrast progressive collapse cases of RC frame structure for considering and not considering floor effect, summed up the floor impact on continuous collapse of RC frame structure.main work are as follows:(1) On the basis of a RC frame collapse test, using the finite element program of ABAQUS, building RC frame model, simulation analysis of collapse experiment, and validate the finite element model.(2) Building RC frame model for considering and not considering floor effect, remove the underlying long side column, Analysis the floor influence of the internal force, deformation and plastic hinge, summarizes the destruction rule of continuous collapsed.(3)Improved Wang Huibin analytic method, and by using the improved analytical method to calculate the floor slab role in the structural continuous collapse, put forward the formula. Through a numerical example, adopt the analytical method and improved analytical method to calculate the maximum strength of RC frame structure with the floor slab, through comparison will pure frame structure, it is found that the ability to resist collapse can be improved 15% at least.
