In the civil engineering field, the most widely used, the largest amount, the most important material of construction engineering and structure is reinforced concrete. But with the use of reinforced concrete, many quality problems have increasingly attracted universal attention. In the construction of traditional reinforced concrete, configuration of stirrups is often too close or improper, not only affect the quality of the concrete pouring,also reduced the cohesive force of steel bar in concrete and the thickness of concrete cover, the security and durability of the structure are reduced greatly. In order to solve the durability of the structure, researchers proposed the synergy of hybrid fibers and stirrups in the concrete structures.Experiment on eight rectangular beams and three T beams with different hybrid fibers contents and different stirrups. Further study on the shear capacity, performance of inclined section damage and failure mode of self-compacting concrete beams, analyze the shear displacement curve, steel strain curve and concrete strain curve, compare the difference of the rectangular beams and T beams in the shear effect.The test results show that the high-strength stirrup can improve the ultimate load of beams; hybrid fiber can significantly improve the ultimate shear, remaining after peak load carrying capacity and ability to resist deformation of self-compacting concrete beams; hybrid fiber can change the failure mode, make the brittle shear failure into ductile flexural failure and limit the development of cracks; the mechanical behavior of beam with hybrid fibers and stirrups is significantly better than that with mono stirrups.In a word, the synergy of hybrid fiber and stirrup is a new excellent type of fiber reinforced way. This way can solve the problem of durability in practical engineering, so the study on shear behavior of flexural member with hybrid fibers and stirrups has extremely important significance of theoretical and engineering.
