Loader has an indispensable status in the area of engineering machinery.It is an important force to promote the development of engineering machinery.With the depletion of oil and serious environmental pollution problems,all countries in the world spare no effort to explore how to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental pollution which will be strict to the loader. From 2013, Xi Jinping, C hinese President,proposed a "new silk road economic belt" and "Marine silk road in the 21 st century" strategic idea, to the year 2015, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank(AIIB) was established in Beijing,means that there will a boom on infrastructure construction in Asia-pacific region in future. To meet the requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection, hybrid loader will get more and more application, at the same time the world will also strengthen the study of hybrid technology.In this paper, on the prototype of a 5 tons loader, the biaxial parallel hybrid power loader was studied in order to improve the fuel economy. The main research content is as follows:(1) After a comparison and analysis in the form of three kinds of hybrid configuration, with the structure characteristics of a traditional wheel loader, the parallel hybrid power loader was determined as the research object of this article finally;(2) For parallel hybrid power system, the paper presents strategies of a fuzzy logic control, the minimum power control and the instantaneous equivalent fuel consumption minimum control. Under different control strategies, study the status of engine, electric generator, and super capacitor;(3) To different control strategies, establish a corresponding simulation model in Matlab, analyzing the change of the torque, SOC value and fuel consumption, at last we concluded that, under the three kinds of mode, compared with traditional loader, petrol-electric hybrid loader has a certain ability to fuel-efficient, besides, the petrol-electric hybrid loader based on fuzzy logic control strategy is more efficient.
