The purpose of the construction monitoring is to monitor and promote the ultimate bridge state in line with the theoretical design requirements. And we should ensure that the structure of the state within the allowable error range in the construction process. Long-span suspension bridge is a statically indeterminate structure, and it has a strict demand on the bridge linear, changes in each node coordinates will affect the distribution of the structure’s internal force. Once the bridge alignment deviates from the design value, it will inevitably lead to the redistribution of internal force and the design value.In this paper, we mainly study the construction monitoring of a long-span suspension bridge renovation project in bridge maintenance and transformation of the construction process of bridge deck line, angle at the end of beam, main cable configuration, main tower deviation, anchor plane displacement, cable force testing of construction monitoring.This paper relies on the long-span suspension bridge deck system renovation project. Bridge deck system at the time of unloading should be strictly in accordance with the phased and symmetrical unloading. The bridge deck at load time should be strict on controlling the paving layer thickness to maintain load balance. It is necessary to set up a number of the water horse, it can be through water injection to keep the load balance when the structure load is unable to keep balance.The result of this research shows that: The construction control of long-span suspension bridge repair construction should be not only fully prepared in advance, but also must be strictly implemented in accordance with the construction monitoring scheme. The engineers should pay attention to load balance in the repair of the bridge deck system, to prevent the bridge deck line and internal forces exceeding the theoretical limit value.
