| The anti-rutting additive can significantly improve the high temperature stability of asphalt mixture, and the new rubber material also has a good result at improving asphalt road performance, absorbing noise, removing snow and ice. This paper studies technical performance of composite modified asphalt mixture with dry blending anti-rutting additive and new rubber powder to get a better pavement performance.The research is divided into three parts. Firstly, determining the best compound modifier content of the three-graded(continuous gradation, gap-graded, semi-gap-graded) based on their road performance, choosing the semi-gap-graded as the optimal gradation relying on economic benefits and road performance. Secondly, optimizating the semi-gap-graded, the optimal design of the coarse aggregate gradation is achieved in a uniform design optimization method, then using gray correlation analysis and regression analysis to draw the best coarse aggregate gradation range. Fine aggregate gradation is optimized by orthogonal design method, determining the optimal fine aggregate gradation range by range analysis and analysis of variance. Finally, through the analysis of composite modified asphalt modified mechanism to improve process, ensures the composite modifier play the role of modification, then comparing the composite modified asphalt mixture and SBS and SBR modified asphalt pavement performance.The Research shows that, the anti-rutting additive and the new rubber material modified asphalt mixture has low construction costs, and excellent road performance, it can replace SBS modifier material widely. |
