Abstract/Summary:
With the increasing number of vehicles in the modern society, people need to reverse parking more frequently day by day. The safety and convenience requirements of the reverse parking are higher and higher by people. This equipment discussed in this paper is a reversing radar system based on ultrasonic ranging. This system, which provides measuring distance, showing distance, showing direction and alarming danger, for the purpose to raise the comfort and safety for car driving.In depth study and reference on ultrasonic ranging on technology, making full use of the design of AT89C51 type of Single-chip microcomputer, developed a vehicle reversing parking radar system based on ultrasonic measurement. This system sets up the index according to the technical requirements in practical reserve parking in process, and puts forward the overall design scheme based on ultrasonic ranging. This system adopts four-way integrated ultrasonic sensors to measure the distance. Software part compare the minimum value of the four road detection range, and tell drivers the distance and the position of the obstacle through the display device and the directional light to enhance the safety in reversing.The system is based on AT89C51 Single-chip microcomputer as the control core.The system includes the following modules: distance measurement module, control module and display and alarm module. Distance measurement module mainly consist of the ultrasonic circuit and the echo signal amplification circuit. Display and alarm module mainly consist of LCD display circuit,alarm circuit and azimuth lamp circuit. Each circuit is described in detail in the hardware design part. The software program mainly includes the main program,the ultrasonic transceiver program, the count value comparison program, distance measurement program, LCD display program and other subprograms. The software design part gives the flow chart of every main program of system and use the MCU assembly language for the preparation of the system software. This design debugs the software program of the system by Keil software and the simulation by Proteus software.
