The new-type steel-encased concrete composite beam is a new type of composite beam form. It is made of thicker tensile plate and thin-walled cold-formed steel spliced or welding forming u-shaped frame, and in the U-shaped frame and its upper casting concrete form the T beam rib, formed a kind of new form of the combination of the cross section to withstand external load. It has high bearing capacity, stiffness, good stability, good fire resistance, construction is convenient, can be large-scale industrialized production, etc.This paper verify and analysis the superiority of the mechanical properties of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams, proves that the mechanical performance of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams is better than other forms of composite beams. The details are as follows.(1) Situation of the study of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams is summarized, and put forward the study is still some problems to be solved.(2)Established finite element model of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams and the ordinary steel-concrete composite beams, the load calculation. By finite element value is compared with the calculated value, verify the rationality and feasibility of using finite element method analysis of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams.(3)Established the new-type steel-encased concrete composite simply supported beam and the new-type steel-encased concrete composite continuous beams and the ordinary steel-concrete composite simply supported beam and the ordinary steel-concrete composite continuous beams models. Stress analysis in the case of full shear connection and partial shear connection. Based on the load deflection curve contrast, bending moment value contrast, load-slip curve contrast, verify the superiority of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite beams.(4) Established the steel bone reinforced concrete composite simply supported beam and the steel bone reinforced concrete composite continuous beam models, extracts the load deflection curve and bending moment value, the data compared with the corresponding data of the new-type steel-encased concrete composite simply supported beams and the new-type steel-encased concrete composite continuous beams, further verify the advantages of composite beams.
