Non-renewable energy resources will finally run out in the future. Therefore most nation s are putting more and more emphasis on exploiting new energy resource, improving th e utilization of renewable energy resources and increasing the stability and reliability o f new energy generation system. In comparison to traditional onshore wind power gener ation, offshore wind power generation occupies low land resources, generates little nois e pollution and costs less development budget. Considering working condition of offs hore turbine is usually more severe than onshore turbine, a dedicated remote monit oring platform of offshore wind power plant is urgently required in order to monitor ope ration status, guarantee its normal operation and prevent financial and human resource l oss. This thesis relies on a sub-project of National High-Technology Project(863), Advance d Control and Monitoring of Large-scale Offshore Wind Turbine. Based on the requirem ent of data processing and monitoring, a B/S Mode Based Monitoring Platform for Larg e-scale Offshore Wind Turbine is designed and implemented, which is capable of monit oring operation status of equipment remotely, diagnosing turbine faults, read historical data and reduce loss caused by equipment faults. This thesis mainly: 1. Analyzed causes of common faults occurring at important components with the special offshore operating environment considered. 2. Proposed a combination of General Regression Neural Network and expert systemin turbine fault diagnosis to concur drawbacks of Back Propagation NeuralNetwork and meet the real-time requirement. Second exponential smoothingmethod is used to predict reliability of the turbine. Above methods are simulated. 3. Designed and implemented B/S based remote monitoring system using Apache+MySQL+PHP as the tools for data management and web development.The B/S mode based remote monitoring system has good extendibility and reusability. Optimization of MySQL is applied. Historical data are stored in database for centralized management. Customers can easily monitor operation states through browsers.
