Reseach And Application Of ONVIF-based Camera Simulation Testing Method

Video monitoring system is an important platform to monitor the running environment of a transformer substation and enhance its degree of information. With the continuous development of China’s electric power system, video monitoring system of transformer substation plays a more and more important role. However, there is a large number of manufacturers in the field of monitoring, and standards used between manufacturers are not unified, which greatly influences the whole function of video monitoring system for substation. In view of the above problem, this paper designs a simulation testing method of camera based on ONVIF.This paper first expounds the significance of the topic, and then develops the ONVIF extended protocol, on this basis, completes the design of ONVIF protocol software testing platform and a camera simulator. The main work is reflected in the following aspects:1. Determine the overall implementation of simulation testing method of cameras from the analysis of functional requirements and technical route perspective, and then extend four ONVIF interfaces of the three-dimensional fixed focus, video moving object detection, occlusion detection and OSD subtitles.2. Complete the design of ONVIF protocol software testing platform, and according to the different measured objects, divide the testing platform into two parts-client test platform and server testing platform. Introduce their design ideas and implementation methods of the main function modules.3. Complete the design of camera simulator, from three aspects to describe the design and realization process of simulating real cameras. That is simulating the main performance parameters, simulating multiple video streaming mechanism and event trigger mechanism of real cameras.4. Conduct tests on the ONVIF software testing platform and camera simulator, and verify the effectiveness of the simulation testing method of cameras.
