Research On Transformer Online Monitoring System Based On IEC 61850

With the development of computer technology and the smart grid in substation automation system, the problems produced in the process of this system draw more and more attention. In the online monitoring system of transformer, the various communication protocols coexist in the distribution network and the interoperability is bad, so it is difficult to maximize the functions of distribution automation. IEC 61850 (communication networks and systems in substations), which regulates the substation intelligent electronic devices (IED) in the communication requirements between the behavior and the related system, thereby solves the seamless integration between different devices and systems interoperability. In this paper, the introduction of IEC 61850 standards solve the interoperability between on-line monitoring device of transformer condition and the problem of seamless communication.(1) Modeling of IED. This article firstly has carried on the analysis to the transformer to monitor electrical parameters and environmental parameters, the characteristics of the transformer remote monitoring system is established, and each basic unit functions are described.(2) Web Services map and obtain the information model. For the Web Services mapping principle in IEC 61850 are described, including data type mapping, information mapping and model mapping model. Based on the technical characteristic of Web Services, studying of IEC 61850 information model, and cost of development, this paper comes up with Web Services map of IEC 61850. And then introduce the gSoap software package for the implementation of Web communication Services and Web Services software.(3) Testing system. The system consists of IED terminal and supervision and management center. Then analyze the test results.
