With the development of information communication technology and transportation system is becoming more and more complex, many big cities are generally facing with the problem of traffic congestion, seriously impact on people’s daily life and travel, so discovering the potential problem of city traffic to help proposing new city traffic plan and as relieve the traffic congestion. Taxis and buses are all important part of city traffic and important transportation means of people’s travel.The insufficiency of the existing transit network causes sometimes can’t meet the city residents travel demands, so as to take a taxi, so how to optimize the transit network has become an urgent need to solve the problem of traffic system. Taxi GPS data contains city residents of continuous spatio temporal trajectory information, we can sense the city road traffic congestion by using taxi GPS data and finding hot region and city resident status. We analyzed of the shortcomings of the current bus line from the residents travel behavior and combined with the hot regional to optimization the bus line, so we can meet city residents’ travel as far as possible.In this paper, we used taxi GPS data to analyze the city traffic state, From the perspective of residents transit demand adjustment and increase bus lines, Compared with the existing bus lines, bus line adjustment optimization is achieved. The main contents and results:1.Pretreatment and analysis of taxi GPS dataWe preprocessed the open source data of Shenzhen city taxi GPS data, and we can see the city’s liquidity after matching the GPS data and GIS map, using the clustering algorithm to divide the traffic zone, and getting the passengers’ OD matrix, the passengers’ travel time distribution and spatial distribution. We gived the traffic congestion index for detection of traffic jam and find out the hot region.2.Travel demand prediction of public transport usersAccording to the taxi GPS data preprocessing we got the residents’ travelling information, using four stage method for traffic generation prediction, traffic generation and attraction prediction and traffic distribution prediction.3.Optimization of the bus lineCompared with the existing bus line, we proposed the bus line optimization and evaluation index. We found out the unreasonable lines of transit network and adjusted,finally presented the assessment.Based on the analysis of the city traffic, we presented the original bus line optimization method and to achieve a certain effect.
