Schedule management and progress control work has become one of the key tasks of project management of hydropower station, the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment as the last link of hydropower project construction of the hydropower station, installation and debugging tasks can be completed on time is the key factor affecting the hydropower station put into operation as scheduled and give full play to economic benefit. The project implementation process, the need to schedule control personnel in the schedule planning process must be based on the practice and theory of knowledge of the various factors affecting construction progress was investigated and analyzed, evaluated by the degree of influence, thus making the total progress plan goal of science. Then according to the overall schedule project plan target decomposition refinement, through the network plan technology to adjust and optimize the schedule, reduce the project schedule risk.Longkaikou Hydropower Station is located in Yunnan in the middle reaches of the Jinsha River hydropower development tasks, mainly for power generation, irrigation and water supply. The power station is equipped with 5 single rated power 360 MW Francis turbine generator units, power plant total installed capacity of 1800 MW. As a large power station in the middle reach of the Jinsha River, the project successfully put into operation, will play an important role for the load of Yunnan power system development and the "west to East power transmission project".
