Over the past twenty years, China’s urban green space construction level is generally improved, but the space distribution pattern evolution, obvious differences. First, this paper, by using 1990-2012 China statistical yearbook(reported) urban green space construction of data statistical analysis, to more than 251 local and city green space construction appears above the ground level and at the present stage in China city proper horizontal space distribution pattern, put forward the classification criteria of urban green space construction level, to our country urban green space construction level are divided into different types, explores our country present situation and characteristics of spatial distribution of urban green space construction level; Second, the 1990-2012 in established the rate and the cross section data of park green land area per capital level study of urban green space construction overall evolution law; Rate in the end, through the model to measure the city proper and the dispersion coefficient of park green land area per capital, explore the urban green space construction level internal coordination situation and characteristics of evolution, in order to reveal the status of the coordinated development of urban green space construction in our country.The main conclusions of the study are:1.1990 years in the low level of urban green space, with a certain spatial distribution difference, in central, northeast slightly tall, east, west is low. Among them, the Ⅳ- Ⅵclass city accounted for 98.0% of sample cities.2.In 2012 in general level of urban green space, the space distribution of significant difference, from the east to the northeast, central, west to gradually reduce the distribution pattern. Among them, the Ⅰ- class city account for 67.33% of the sample cities, Ⅲ Ⅳ- Ⅵclass city accounted for 32.66% of sample cities.3.1990-2012 in rapidly increasing level of urban green space, speed obvious space difference, fastest in the east, west, central faster, the slowest in northeast China; Among them, 92.82% of the city type by the poor to better types;The smaller the city’s overall improve the urban green space construction level; Built up area per capital growth rate is lagging behind the park green space area of growth.4.In 1990-2012 the development level of urban green space construction coordination disorder is relatively serious, and the imbalance situation was enhanced; The four areas of tonal from northeast to east and west to central gradually increases; Giant urban development coordination among them, the best, several other kinds of overall urban development more balanced, the smaller the urban development and urban poor coordination of proportion is larger; The higher the administrative level city, urban green space construction level balanced development, the better.
