Spatial steel frame concrete structure is a light steel structure,which is composed of horizontal or inclined steel and vertical angle.It has certain stiffness and bearing capacity.Confined concrete structure of spatial steel frame is a new type of composite structure system which developed based on the concept of confined concrete.At present, the comprehensive analysis on the compression mechanical properties of the spatial steel frame reinforced concrete short column under axial have not been down, and the constitutive model of confined concrete are mostly established on limited experiments, which limit the applicable scope. In this view, this paper collected compression curves of 16 spatial angle steel reinforced concrete short column under axial, and modify the Mander constitutive model according to the experimental data. Then the constitutive model for the spatial steel frame concrete is obtained.On this basis, the finite element model is established which takes the finite element analysis software ABAQUS as the platform, the bilinear model for steel reinforcement without the consideration of reinforcement and the constitutive model for the concrete which is proposed in this paper. The load- displacement curve is got upon the nonlinear finite element analysis on the space steel frame reinforced concrete short column. The analysis of the impact of various parameters on the bearing capacity has been down. Finally, the relationship between angle steel strength reduction coefficient and coefficient of confinement effect is obtained according to the finite element analysis of data. Furthermore, the bearing capacity calculation formula of the spatial steel frame reinforced concrete short column under axial compression has been put forward according to the relationship between.
