Variable-frequency regulating speed technology has been applied to various fields of industrial production, though the inverter technology is relatively mature, the volumes of inverters are developing toward miniaturization. But in some special environment, the inverter and the motor integrated design can effectively save the space occupied by the drive system, to a certain extent; this design can avoid the control the system out of control caused by the loss of control signal. Researching and designing inverter and motor integration, at the same time support industrial control network of inverter, has a certain meaning for engineering.Based on the general-inverter, the paper uses a control method, namely, the speed closed loop control mode of V/f, to do research and design a kind of inverter supporting the industrial control network. The paper also analyzes and calculates the components’ parameter and choice, in order to meet the volume and power acquirements that the inverter could be installed on the motor. SPWM can regulate the system, with the speed regulating performance meeting the acquirement, MATLAB simulation experiment is used to verify the performance of variable-frequency regulating speed system for the designed inverter, which is based on the speed closed loop with the slip frequency control method. The simulation results show that the designing is reasonable.Designing the main circuit and wiring structure for inverter, the switching and choice between the airborne inverter and external inverter could be realized relatively easy, according to the user’s acquirement. Establishing the hardware circuit for variable-frequency system based on the DSP main control chip, then doing some experiments to test the function for the designed inverter and writing the corresponding software program. The paper designs a kind of master-slave network structure supporting the RS-485 standard and establishes the hardware circuit. VB software is used to design a software system setting the superior motor’s parameters; Modbus protocol can make the network transmission of motor control parameter for designed inverter come true easily. The experiment results show that the designed inverter can meet the designing acquirements in terms of communication and speed control.
