| Gravel soil is a kind of soil with wide grading,including gravel,sand,silt,clay and so on. Gravel and sand as mentioned is gravel soil too.It is common in nature and widely used in the traffic and water conservancy engineering.The liquefaction phenomenon caused by the earthquake caused serious consequences worldwide,and China is no exception.In the previous study of liquefaction.Scholars and researchers mainly focus on the issue of saturated sand and saturated silt. But seismic survey data shows, gravel soil liquefaction also occurs in some conditions, the consequences are equally serious, so that research on gravel soil liquefaction should be carried out.For gravel soil liquefaction,the mechanism to be explained and research showed that typical method judging saturated sand and saturated silt liquefaction in the world,are not applicable.So a new method is needed to find to deal with gravel soil liquefaction. At the same time give a reasonable explanation for the possibility of gravel soil liquefaction.The shear wave velocity of soil is an important soil comprehensive parameter, and are closely related to the liquefaction performance.There is a little research result on gravel soil shear wave velocity published and no previous research results about the influence factors on gravel soil shear wave velocity published, it is still a blank field. Study on the gravel soil shear wave velocity is important for the study of gravel soil liquefaction. This paper studies the influence factors of gravel soil shear wave velocity through the indoor experiment.The main work can be outlined:1.Selection of appropriate experimental instruments and the test method, selection of experimental materials, selection of experimental parameters to study, test plan.2.Through the indoor experiment, analysis the effect of gravel content of gravel soil shear wave velocity.3.Through the indoor experiment, analysis the effect of relative density of gravel soil shear wave velocity.4.Through the indoor experiment, analysis the effect of Consolidation pressure of gravel soil shear wave velocity.5.Through the indoor experiment, analysis the effect of Consolidation pressure ratio of gravel soil shear wave velocity. |
