With the continuous expansion of power grid in China, high voltage circuit breaker is more and more important in control and protection of the power system, its operation, maintenance and repair is closely related to reliability of the whole power system. Operating mechanism is a key part of the circuit breaker, at the same time it is a failure concentrated area of circuit breaker, mechanical parameters are important technical indicators in reflecting running status of circuit breaker operating mechanism, so it is very necessary to quickly and accurately measuring circuit breaker mechanical characteristic parameters, which is important information in circuit breaker factory inspection, performance evaluation and fault diagnosis. In order to overcome the lack of previous test method, this paper developed a circuit breaker mechanical characteristic parameters test system based on image processing, trigger high-speed cameras and electrical signal synchronization acquisition by coil current of divide-shut brake, the dynamic object of contact motion on the connecting rod image is a recognition target. In order to match pixel coordinates with the actual coordinates the first is camera calibration, and then to enhance contrast of the image and improve quality of the image by histogram equalization, find out the moving pictures of divide-shut brake through image difference operation, the auxiliary marker pasted on the connecting rod is a track targets, use particle filter target tracking and block matching tracking detection to detect and track the marker, draw the movement curve track. Finally according to motion target coordinates of each frame image to calculate the characteristic parameters. Through laboratory and on-site validation respectively, circuit breaker mechanical characteristic parameters test system has the characteristics of stable performance, strong anti-jamming capability, the dynamic contact motion parameter identification method in this paper is accurate and effective.
