With China’s economic and technological development and the implementation of construction industrialization, to speed up the construction progress and improve labor efficiency has become a development trend of the current engineering. However, following with unexpected events occuring, progressive collapse gradually come into people’s horizons, for example,British Ronan Point apartment gas explosion in 1968 and the America "911" incident, people are fully aware of the importantance of progressive collapse. The object of this study is the prestressed precast concrete frame, one of the biggest difference between prestressed precast concrete frame and Cast-in-site frame structure is the semi-rigid joint. This paper introduces the mechanical characteristics of semi-rigid connections and influence on stress and deformation of the buildings. The finite element software and the static nonlinear analysis method are used to model the structure system to study the failure component under the specified mode and the collapse of component failure sequence. At the same time,on the basis of the mechanism of continuous collapse resistance of existing typical frame structure, such as " Beam mechanism " and "Catenary system", it can study the remaining components by tearing down corner column and Short edge of column and Long side of column and Within the column. Then we find different damage parts of the design method of progressive collapse resistance is different,so it can correct designers’understanding against the design method of progressive collapse, especially the use of local strengthening component and tie force method. In this paper, through the establishment of a different model, we can find how to choose the position of the component when using the local strength member method and the application condition when using the Local strengthening component method. At last it points out that tie force method is not suit all components,so far as to the same components different loading direction...
