As a kind of common long-span bridge, cable-stayed bridge has the characteristics of different forms and complex stress. So, it is so important to choose the right component size, connection mode, length, width and height when we design the cable-stayed bridge. And it is also necessary to make a static and dynamic analysis of the key sections when we put the traditional cable-stayed bridge and hybrid girder together. At present, many typical symmetric cable-stayed bridges of double towers have been researched, so the author choose a strange shape cable-stayed bridge of steel-concrete beam of single pylon of oblique arch pylon to research.Firstly, the domestic and foreign famous cable-stayed bridge of single pylon is introduced by this paper. Then the bridge is taken as background, the whole bridge model is established by the finite element software Midas Civil, the local model is established by the finite element software ANSYS. The specific research contents can be summarized as the following:(1) The whole bridge model is made a static analysis to calculate the counter-force of the transitional pier, deformation of the beam, force of the pylon and stay-cables, ect. The local model of the steel-concrete beam is established to analyze the stress of the key parts.(2) The analysis of the static parameter sensitivity is made on the basis of the Midas Civil model of the whole bridge. And the conclusion of the influence of different parameters on the cable-stayed bridge structure is drawn. Reasonable proposals are made for the single pylon cable-stayed bridge design.(3) The dynamic characteristics are solved on the basis of the Midas Civil model of the whole bridge. The analysis of the whole bridge and the local model are made with response spectrum method and time history method, respectively.These research results of the paper could provide a reference for the design of the similar single pylon cable-stayed bridge.
