It is a inevitable choice of sustainable development and promoting the construction of ecological civilization to develop clean energy and reduce the coal consumption, if we want to realize the dream of ’To Be a Beautiful China’. Nuclear power has a huge development advantage in energy supply, power generation cost and especially in the abatement effect during environmental protection since it is a kind of clean energy. The development of nuclear power bears the hope of clean energy, meanwhile triggers the afraid of nuclear. It is of great significance to ensure the safe and stable operation since the steam turbine is one of the most important part of nuclear power plant. This paper, briefly introducesthe structure of nuclear power steam turbine unit and its common control and protection system.A 1430MW nuclear power steam turbine unit is taken as the research object, measure and acquist the vibration signal under drop speed running condition, and analysis the time and frequency domain characteristics in detail.Meanwhile, two representative short signalsare taken out to illustrate the process of slow axis trajectory and the influence of the spectrum. In addition, takea simulation signal as an example, compares the advantages of different frequency analysis method. Then analysis the absolute vibration signal and relative axial vibration signal with bilinear time-frequency analysis method, and analysis the stability of the unitfrom different angles.
