Wind power technology as one of the most widely used new energy technologies have been vigorously developed in the world, of which DFIG is a major type of turbines. Double-fed wind power generation system has flexible active and reactive power control ability, and the wind farm control system uses a centralized dispatching policy to response certain power grid instructions.In this paper, active output of the wind farm under grid scheduling restrictions is discussed. How wind farm responses to the command well to keep their best running status, so a new optimal control strategy based on the power prediction information is presented. Calculation and simulation models on MATLAB/Simulink platform are built to verify the effectiveness of the control strategy proposed in this paper.(1)Power characteristics based on mathematical model of DFIG is deduced, different control methods of different running states analyzed, and double active power control system of wind farm is detailed introduced.(2)Based on centralized control system and forecasting system, aiming at minimizing power loss and diffrence between dispatch and target, meeting OPF constraints and turbine control constraints, the wind farm power control optimization strategy is proposed divided into unit selection model and power allocation model.(3)Use variable scale Gaussian mutation particle swarm algorithm to solve the model. Solve the above strategy under different instructions, different parameters, different capacity size and so on, respectively, proving its feasibility initially.(4)Add a power calibration module in DFIG control system, so it can be set according to the corresponding output power value, then simulation verifies its effectiveness. In view of active power control of wind farm cluster, compare the difference between various control strategies, design their processes, providing references for power dispacthing control of wind farm cluster.
