Electricity is the most clean secondary energy.It pushed the development of the society, promote the progress of technology and improve the quality of people’s life. With the progress of the society and the development of science and technology. Electrical technical level enhances unceasingly, People depend on the degree of power more and more high, it is very important to the security and stability of power grid’s running. The safe operation of power equipment determines the normal operation of the power grid.Power transformer is one of the key equipment in the line of defense.Power transformer is an important part of power system, It can realize the voltage transformation, power distribution transmission and network interconnection. As a kind of static electricity equipment, the probability of failure is much less than the steam turbines and other rotating machinery equipment. But once the equipment has fault, it will bring huge economic losses.So, condition monitoring and fault iagnosis of power transformer is particularly important.In recent years, on the study of power transformer fault diagnosis has been eveloping, iron core transformer,coil loose vibration diagnosis method also has made great progress. But the study of vibration diagnostic methods mostly just stay in the laboratory. It has not applied to practical engineering. In this paper, relying on the North China Electric Power University, Shandong Taikai Transforemer CO., LTD. and Beijing Envada Power Electronics Company jointly participate. From the design experiment, feature extraction, data analysis and fault diagnosis launched a series of studies, discusses the looseness fault and the relationship of vibration of the transformer coil. Through principal component analysis and other analytical methods, studied on how to analyze signal combined with practical engineering application and related problems.Loose core vibration diagnosis method of power transformer coil as a method of on-line monitoring, it can find the fault of power transformer coil looseness in a timely manner. Reduce the old regular outage inspection method of transformer maintenance the additional spending of the economy, save power grid operating costs at the same time, improve the operation efficiency of the entire transmission system.
